American Inventor has taken television by storm. Now NE Wisconsin’s version, the Elevator Pitch Contest.
The pitch is so called because it can be delivered in the time span of an elevator ride. Venture capitalists often judge the quality of an idea and team on the basis of the quality of its elevator pitch.
Several entrepreneurs will have a chance to pitch their idea to a group of investors and successful entrepreneurs. The winner will receive a cash prize. All will have the chance to sell investors and the audience, on their idea. The lucky candidates will be chosen through an application process coordinated through the Business Assistance Center.
