American Inventor has taken television by storm. Now NE Wisconsin’s version, the Elevator Pitch Contest.
The pitch is so called because it can be delivered in the time span of an elevator ride. Venture capitalists often judge the quality of an idea and team on the basis of the quality of its elevator pitch.
Several entrepreneurs will have a chance to pitch their idea to a group of investors and successful entrepreneurs. The winner will receive a cash prize. All will have the chance to sell investors and the audience, on their idea. The lucky candidates will be chosen through an application process coordinated through the Business Assistance Center.
Listen to and ask questions of a panel of entrepreneurs who have successfully taken innovative ideas to market. Some used innovative financing to start, others used innovative channels to get their products to market, all have exciting and inspiring stories. Learn from some successful businesses who don’t fit the stereotype of Northeast Wisconsin.
Great ideas are coming out of Wisconsin. Come see the ideas generated by your fellow inventors and entrepreneurs. Inventors and entrepreneurs will be displaying their ideas and talking with participants in search of investors or entrepreneurs to team with. Co-sponsored by the Inventors and Entrepreneurs’ Club.
